Listening to our pupils

We hope you all had a lovely long weekend.

Well here, we are in the Summer Term!  The Summer Term newsletter is out, and went home with the children yesterday.

As you know, it is extremely important to us to get the children’s views about everything we do here in school.  One of the ways we do this is through meetings and assemblies.  The image below shows Mrs Carmichael finding out the children’s views on recent activities.

  • Article 12: Respect for the views of the child – Every child has the right to express their views, feelings and wishes in all matters affecting them, and to have their views considered and taken seriously.  This right applies at all times, for example during immigration proceedings, housing decisions or the child’s day-to-day home life.
